A American-Palestinian youth having endured 270 days in Israeli detention without charge was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 during his detention last February throughout the West Bank territory, during a family visit while residing in Florida under suspicion of rock throwing against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
American diplomatic officials said it welcomed the teenager's freedom.
Now sixteen years old, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.
Family described him as showing signs of malnutrition, and is suffering from conditions developed during imprisonment.
Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle expressed the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we are focused on providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention he requires after being subjected to harsh conditions and inhumane conditions over several months."
The state department said it would continue to offer diplomatic assistance to the teenager's relatives.
{"American leadership gives utmost importance than the safety and security of American nationals"," the department emphasized.
Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to US authorities and President Donald Trump, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
Mohammed's parent, with four children who runs an ice cream business from Florida, had earlier stated his son only confessed regarding stone throwing because the soldiers beat him.
There were no visits nor direct contact since February, learning information solely about his son's condition in detention through court documents.
The teenager remained without charge in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.
It is also home to mature inmates, some of whom have been convicted regarding severe security violations and homicide.
There are around several hundred young Palestinian detainees being held in Israeli jails, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Numerous remain uncharged along with monitoring agencies, as well as the United Nations, say some have suffered physical abuse and torture.
