Performer Refutes Anti-Vax Stance Following Narrating Controversial Coronavirus Feature

Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a feature-length documentary that questions the efficacy of vaccinations and commends ex- health official the political figure.

The Film's Provocative Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is adapted from a popular book co-authored by a disgraced researcher, who became famous during the health crisis for claims that the virus was linked to a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

Her collaborator, the executive producer, has also written books with far-right media personality the Infowars host. Heckenlively took to social media celebrating Neeson's involvement in the film.

A Firm Denial

The team of the actor have provided a response firmly refuting suggestions that he holds anti-immunization sentiments.

"Everyone can acknowledge that misconduct may occur within the drug industry, but that should never be conflated with being against vaccines," the comment explains. "Neeson has never been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His long work with the UN children's agency underscores his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response continued that the star did not shape the project's narrative and that concerns about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

Major Claims Within the Film

As presented, the voiceover provided by Neeson includes several provocative statements:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have called for "unconditional submission" to public institutions.
  • It argues that "research has become dangerously influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is shown saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't properly vetted."
  • The narration also criticizes stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it cites a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Past Context and Recent Issues

It includes a historical film about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the focus of a correction by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, the political figure directed the CDC to revise its long-held position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism. This assertion is repeated in the documentary, even with a new report from the World Health Organisation stating no connection has been found.

A Previous Record of Advocacy

Differing from the film's tone, Neeson has formerly shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

In 2022, he described vaccines as "a remarkable triumph," noting that "The conversation about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's narration stating, "This isn't the conclusion of our story. This is the start of a different phase."
