Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a person who leaped a barrier and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the Australian man bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

History of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed includes videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Several followers criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote another comment on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised guards at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.
